I have seen this ad on bus backs and auto rickshaws and find it totally insane that the marketing team even came up with something like this. It is an ad for an institute that teaches people the English language. Now I am guessing here and correct me if I am wrong, but shouldn't this ad be in the local language or some other language other than English. I fail to understand how someone who does not know the language will understand the ad and then call them to enroll themselves in the program.
Some may defend it stating that people could inform friends or relatives who want to learn the language but do not know where to go and it is useful for them. But I think that, that is a pretty flimsy reason.
This marketing team obviously got this campaign all wrong.
